The Motor House - Welcome

THE MOTOR HOUSE is an Arts & Crafts art house built in 1905 as part of an estate to house cars and the chaffeur and his family. It's located in North Yorkshire, 20 minutes drive from the east coast, between the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales.

It's a great place if you're a writer or painter looking for a break from the big city and needing to work for a few weeks or months. The house has nice rooms, each of which are let individually with some shared amenities. Surrounding the house and garden is beautiful countryside, fields and woods.
